How Connecticut Business Leaders Are Navigating Rapid Change

What Does Connecticut’s Next Chapter Look Like?

Change across technology, markets, and the workplace raises an important question for Connecticut: how can businesses, entrepreneurs, and communities prepare for what comes next?

Ahead of the September 10th Forum@535, Rebellion Group’s Mel Nardiello and Jack Curran sat down with FOX61’s Brendan Mackey to discuss the value of bringing entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors, and civic leaders together to exchange ideas and explore how Connecticut’s business community can adapt.

“We’ve been putting on events for the last few years now and really trying to understand what’s going on in the state, what’s going on in our industry, [and] in the industries that serve us,” said Nardiello. “Part of that is being able to get to know people more, deepen and broaden those relationships.”

For Curran, adapting to change requires continuing the conversation rather than searching for a single roadmap.

“We can’t have one conversation and just stop,” Curran said. “How do we create value for businesses? How do we take entrepreneurial ideas and turn them into actual visions and viable businesses?”

Those conversations ultimately matter if they lead somewhere. As Curran put it, if ideas discussed today can help shift the marketplace three, six, or nine months from now, “you can begin to see that impact right here at Forum.”
