About

Our Mission

The mission of Shaping CT’s Future is to create meaningful dialogue and action around the issues impacting all those who live, work, and play in the state.

As such, in 2024 we hosted five events to tackle some of the state’s most pressing issues, and we created experiences that combined fun and function, a platform that allowed CT businesses to showcase themselves, and an environment that served as a comfortable space to have tough conversations.

However, we’ve since asked ourselves, “Did we actually help shape the future of CT?” We found that our work is not done and what’s been missing is the action that follows our events. It’s not simply about creating an experience where one can network and hear from subject matter experts. It’s about actively creating positive change, not just more conversations.

In 2025, we’re expanding our events series to create a more dynamic ecosystem that delivers on the change-making potential we envision. Each will have a mission statement to solve specific challenges associated with the topic. We will then develop programs to produce tangible action and results in partnership with key stakeholders engaged with each challenge.

We know active, ongoing collaboration with our event partners, sponsors, and speakers is key to building toward the solutions and the change that we set out to achieve. In 2025 we open this invitation to all those who want to actively be a part of Shaping CT’s Future.

Event Lifecycle

PRE-EVENT:

Laying the Foundation for Impact

We meticulously design each event to address critical challenges, with clear objectives guiding every decision. By gathering input through live polling, surveys, and podcasts, we ensure the agenda aligns with the issues that matter most to Connecticut.

DURING THE EVENT:

Where Innovation Meets Collaboration

Our events create a space where professionals don’t just network—they innovate. Through live insights, thought-provoking discussions, and interactive exhibits, we create meaningful connections and actionable ideas.

POST-EVENT:

From Ideas to Outcomes

The impact doesn’t stop when the event ends. We translate discussions into white papers, pilot programs, and actionable insights, ensuring momentum continues. These follow-ups empower attendees to lead change and foster growth long after the event.
